Cal State Dominguez Hills' Michael McKibbin claimed the CCAA Offensive Player of the Week award for the week of Sept. 5-11 after he scored four goals and helped lead the Toros to a pair of road wins.

McKibbin scored both game-winning goals on the trip. He notched the lone goal during the second half in a 1-0 win at Western Oregon.

The sophomore from Torrance followed with a hat-trick on Sunday at Saint Martin's. He helped the Toros break out of a scoreless tie with goals in the 58th and 70th minutes. McKibbin completed his first career hat-trick with another goal in the 74th minute as the Toros extended their lead to 4-0.

With his four goals, McKibbin is now tied for second in the CCAA behind his teammate Salaiman Bah. The Toros lead the CCAA and rank eighth in NCAA Division II with 17 goals on the season.

McKibbin is the second Toro to collect CCAA Offensive Player of the Week honors in the season's first three weeks. He joins Bah, who collected the award the first week of the season after his own four-goal week.

This week, CSUDH will face Cal State Monterey Bay in a non-conference match on Saturday, Sept. 17, in Carson. The No. 7 ranked Toros will open conference play on Sept. 23 at No. 11 Cal Poly Pomona.
