Cal State Dominguez Hills' Sulaiman Bah has been selected as the first CCAA Offensive Player of the Week for the 2022 season. (Aug. 22-28)

Bah led Dominguez Hills to a pair of wins over west region opponents on opening weekend. The sophomore midfielder accounted for both goals in the Toros 2-0 win in the opener over Academy of Art. He notched the first goal only seven minutes in and added another midway through the first half to extend the lead.

On Saturday, the Sierra Leone native helped lead the Toros to a 5-1 road win over Concordia. He scored his first goal of the match in the 32nd minute and had an assist to Jhoel Sarraude as the Toros took a 4-0 lead into halftime. Bah added his second goal of the match midway through the second half.

Bah leads the CCAA with four goals scored. He is one of only four CCAA student-athletes to be credited with multiple goals this year.

CSUDH started the season at 2-0-0 for the first time since 2017 and just the second since 2013. This marks the second career CCAA Player of the Week award for Bah. He won his first last year for his performance over the week of Sept. 27-Oct. 3.

Cal State Dominguez Hills will continue playing PacWest opponents this week when they host Biola (Aug. 31) and Point Loma (Sept. 3) in Carson.
