Cal State San Bernardino’s Marlee Nunley has been picked as the Volleyball Setter of the Week, for the Week of Sept. 26-Oct.

Nunley led the Yotes to two 3-0 sweeps last weekend with wins over Cal State East Bay and Cal State San Marcos. The junior from Murrieta handed out 61 assists in six sets (10.17 assists per set) with nine digs.

Against CSUSM on Friday, Nunley had 33 assists with four kills on seven swings. Versus CSUEB on Saturday, she recorded 28 assists to go with five kills on six attempts without an error for .833 attacking percentage. Nunley also had eight digs against the Pioneers.

The All-CCAA first team setter is currently fifth in the conference with 7.71 assists per set.

The No. 15 ranked CSUSB Yotes will host No. 17 Cal Poly Pomona, which has won 14 straight matches, Friday night at home in The Den. They will also meet the following evening in Pomona.
