For the second time this season, Kimberly DeBoer of San Francisco State has earned the honor as the CCAA Volleyball Setter of the Week, for the week of Oct. 24-30.
DeBoer dished 92 assists with a 13.14 assists per set average while leading the Gators to two victories to stay in the hunt for a CCAA Tournament berth. She also added 12 digs, seven kills and a service ace to her totals.
The sophomore setter from Murrieta posted 36 assists with three digs and three kills against Chico State last Friday. On Saturday, DeBoer set 56 assists with nine digs and four kills versus Stanislaus State. The 56-assist performance tied for the second most in a match by any CCAA setter this season.
DeBoer, who currently leads the conference with 10.88 assists per set with 914 assists, was the setter of the week for Aug. 25-28.
SF State, currently in sixth place at 10-6 in league play, travels to Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State San Bernardino this week to close out the regular season.
