Stanislaus State’s Alexis Brewah was named the CCAA/Pixellot Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 17-23.

Brewah had a role in four of the Warriors’ five goals as they went 2-0 and clinched a spot in the upcoming CCAA Tournament. The two wins also moved Stanislaus State into a tie for first place with just one match remaining in the regular season.

The Stockton native opened the weekend by scoring the game-winning goal on a penalty kick in the 83rd minute in the Warriors' 2-1 comeback victory over Cal State LA.

Brewah followed it up with a three-assist performance in the 3-1 win over Cal Poly Pomona on Senior Day. Two of her assists went to Sabrina Cabrera as the Warriors broke a 1-1 tie in the second half with goals in the 64th and 75th minutes. It was the first three-assist performance in the CCAA this season.

The junior forward now leads the conference in assists (9) and is second in both goals (10) and points (29).

Brewah is the first Warrior to earn a CCAA/Pixellot Offensive Player of the Week award this season. Last week, her teammate, Alexia Estrada, was named the CCAA/Pixellot Defensive Player of the Week.

Stanislaus State is on a four-match winning streak and is currently tied with Sonoma State atop the CCAA standings. Both teams have 20 points. Stanislaus State will close out the regular season at home against Cal State East Bay on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 11:30 a.m. Sonoma State will host San Francisco State at the same time in their regular-season finale.
