Cal State Dominguez Hills’ Sulaiman Bah netted four goals, including a hat-trick, last weekend to earn the CCAA Men’s Soccer Player of the Week award, for the week of Sept. 27-Oct. 3.
Bah scored three times in CSUDH’s lopsided 7-1 win over Cal State East Bay on Friday. The midfielder then added another score on Sunday at Stanislaus State to run his season total to five goals.
Against Cal State East Bay, the sophomore from Bo, Sierra Leone, scored twice in the first half in the 5th and 21st minute as the Toros took a 3-0 lead at the half. Bah opened up the scoring in the second half with a score in the 56th minute as CSUDH dominated CSUEB.
Bah becomes the first Toro to find the back of the net three times since Robert Roosen did it in 2019. He’s the second CCAA player to score a hat trick this season.
At Stanislaus State, Bah knocked in the penalty kick goal in the 63rd minute in the Toros’ 4-1 win over the Warriors.
