DaLeo Secures Weekly Honors After a First-Place Individual Finish Mar 6, 2019 After an individual event victory at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout, Sonoma State’s Megan DeLeo has earned CCAA Golfer of the Week for Feb. 27-March 5. This marks DeLeo’s second weekly award of the 2018-19 season. DeLeo secured medalist honors after firing at 70-72--142, going 2-under for the tournament played at Corica Park South Course in Alameda. The freshman from Plano, Texas, braved the wet conditions to earn a three-stroke victory as she fired off a tournament-best 10 birdies as she made her way to the top of the leaderboard. As a team, the Seawolves finished in third in the 19-team field, bested by tournament winners No. 16 Cal State San Marcos and Academy of Art.
