After rewriting the Cal State East Bay record books, Angie Ronquillo has earned CCAA Runner of the Week for Sept. 23-29.

Ronquillo, a sophomore from Bakersfield, raced her way to a new program best while finishing first among all CCAA runners at the Capital Cross Challenge in Sacramento. Crossing the line in 21:16.8, Ronquillo finished 23rd out of 322 women who toed the line on the course that will host the 2019 NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships at Haggin Oaks GC.
