Isamar Conde Captures CCAA Player of the Week
After leading Humboldt State to a homestand sweep over the weekend, senior Isamar Conde has been selected as CCAA Player of the Week for Jan. 7-13.
Conde averaged 23.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game as she helped the Green and Gold secure the pair of victories over Southland foes Cal State LA and Cal State Dominguez Hills.
The senior from El Dorado Hills connected on 47.1 percent of her shots and went 7-of-16 from downtown, including a 5-for-11 night from three-point range against the Golden Eagles where she scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Conde followed the performance with a 23-point effort against the Toros. After the weekend, Conde ranks third in the CCAA in 3-point shooting percentage at 38.7 percent.
Next, the Jacks embark on a Bay Area weekend starting with a contest at Cal State East Bay on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Then, they’ll travel to Cal State Monterey Bay for a Saturday afternoon doubleheader.
