Rucki's Defense Leads to CCAA Player of the Week Nod Sep 25, 2018 SAN RAMON, Calif. –– Maintaining a stout defensive presence for San Francisco State, goalkeeper Nicki Rucki has been tabbed CCAA Player of the Week for Sept. 17-23. The sophomore from Martinez led the Gators to a 2-0-1 week, as San Francisco State recorded three more shoutouts to bring the season total to five. Rucki did not allow a goal in 271 minutes on the field, making 15 saves including a penalty kick, and assisting on the game-winner in Friday's 3-0 win at Cal State San Bernardino. The Gators are back home this week, hosting Cal State LA Friday at 3 p.m., followed by a Saturday showdown with Cal State Dominguez Hills, televised on ElevenSports TV.
