Mary Reilly Dazzles Her Way to Weekly Acclaim Sep 18, 2018 SAN RAMON, Calif. –– After a pair of dazzling performances on the pitch for UC San Diego, Mary Reilly netted CCAA Player of the Week for Sept. 10-16. Reilly put on a show for the No. 2 Tritons, scoring five of UC San Diego’s eight goals during a perfect start to their CCAA title defense. The senior striker from Chula Vista struck for four in Friday night's 6-1 romp over Cal State Monterey Bay, notching a first-half hat trick over a span of 19:27 en route to matching the best single-game output of her college career. Reilly's fourth from close range made it 5-1 in the 60th minute, as she only was on the field for 50 minutes on the night. She then opened the scoring in Sunday's 2-1 victory over Cal State East Bay, in the 11th minute of action. The haul for the week moved her from a tie for 11th all-time in the program history book, to sole possession of seventh, now at 39 career goals. Reilly currently leads the CCAA in shots, goals and points.
