Rosser, Roberts Named CCAA Track and Field Athletes of the Week

SAN RAMON, Calif. — Cal State LA’s Khallifah Rosser and Humboldt State’s Dylan Roberts have been selected as California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Track and Field Athlete of the Week for March 19-25.
 
CCAA Men’s Track Athlete of the Week
Khallifah Rosser raced to a new meet record at the 40th Annual Aztec Invitational, crossing the line in 49.61 in the 400 meter hurdles. Breaking his own meet-best of 49.69 set in 2016, Rosser took first in the invitational race with an NCAA Division II automatic qualifying mark.

The senior from Fontana was also on the 4x100 relay team that placed second in an open race in 41.93 and on the 4x400 relay team that finished first in 3:17.51. Both times were season bests for the Golden Eagles. This is Rosser’s second Athlete of the Week nod of the 2018 season.

CCAA Men’s Field Athlete of the Week
Dylan Roberts was one of the Jacks top performers in the jumps at Saturday's Humboldt Invite. The graduate student from Santa Paula placed first in the triple jump with a mark of 13.64 meters and second in the long jump with a jump of 6.80 meters.

The Humboldt State men were ranked 18th in the last USTFCCCA poll.
