Taylor Ferris Collects CCAA Player of the Week Honors Feb 20, 2018 SAN RAMON, Calif. — Keeping the Toros in the posteaston hunt, senior Taylor Farris has been named the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Player of the Week for Feb. 12-19. Farris, a senior forward from Renton, Wash., recorded 23 points on 75.0 percent shooting as Cal State Dominguez Hills took down Stanislaus State 73-64 Saturday night. She added 11 rebounds, seven blocks and four steals in the victorious effort, notching her eighth double-double of the season as the squad celebrated Senior Night. Sitting at 10-10 in league play, the Toros are currently seventh in the CCAA standings and fighting to hold on to their tournament berth. This week, Cal State Dominguez Hills hits the road to take on No. 1 seed UC San Diego on Thursday and closes the regular season at Cal State San Marcos on Saturday.
