FItzpatrick Nabs Career First CCAA Player of the Week

After recording his first double-double of the season, Cal State LA forward Anthony Fitzpatrick has been tapped as CCAA Player of the Week for Dec. 10-16.

The junior from Compton scored a game-high 24 points to go along with 10 rebounds to lead the Golden Eagles to a 85-75 win at Cal State Monterey Bay. Was 9-of-12 from the floor, including a 3-pointer in an effective 24-minute outing for Cal State LA.

Making his first start of the year, Fitzpatrick produced his best offensive output wearing black and gold nearly tripling his average points per game tally (9.0) en route to his first career CCAA weekly award.

The Golden Eagles host Cal State Dominguez Hills on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., the last game for both squads before winter break commences.
