SAN RAMON, Calif. – After a dominant performance of perfection in their CCAA opener, Cal State LA’s Rachael DiRegolo has been tapped as CCAA Player of the Week for Nov. 19-25.

DiRegolo, a junior from Fair Oaks, enjoyed a sensational career night to lead the Golden Eagles to a big 80-60 win over Stanislaus State on Saturday. She made all eight of her field-goal attempts and added a 10-for-10 night from the free throw line to total a career-high 26 points to go along with a game-high 12 rebounds. The 6-2 center also had the only five blocks of the game as Cal State LA improved to 3-0 on the season.

After her perfect performance from the field, DiRegolo is connecting at a clip of 63.3 percent on the season, 25 in NCAA Division II. She’s also averaging 3.67 blocks per game, ninth in the country. DiRegolo is one of 17 women to enjoy a 10-for-10 or better performance from the stripe nationally, joining Humboldt State’s Alexia Thrower who accomplished the same feat on Friday at Sonoma State.

Next, the Golden Eagles travel to Cal State San Bernardino Thursday at 5:30 p.m. The squad continues the road trip with a meeting at Cal State East Bay slated for Saturday at 1 p.m.
