Cal State San Marcos Runner Flora Tapped for Weekly Honors
SAN RAMON, Calif. – After pacing Cal State San Marcos at the Lewis Conference Crossover, Lisa Flora has been selected as CCAA Runner of the Week for Oct. 1-7.
Flora, a senior from Escondido, turned in a time of 22:39.60 to finish 21st out of a field of 269 competitors. Racing against eight Top 25 teams in the meet, the Cal State San Marcos took 12th in the team standings. The weekly award is the first in Flora’s career as a Cougar.
Next up, Cal State San Marcos hosts the Cougar Challenge on Saturday.
