Chico State Sweeps Weekly CCAA Men's Track and Field Awards
SAN RAMON – Chico State's Kyle Medina and Nolan Nagle were tabbed the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Men's Track and Field Athletes of the Week, respectively, for the week of Apr. 17-23.

Medina placed another punch in his ticket to the NCAA Division II Track and Field Championships after posting an Automatic Qualifying time in the 1,500 meters at the Cardinal Classic at Stanford University's Cobb Track and Angell Field in Ventura.
Overall he finished ninth overall in a field that included only Division I or professional runners with a time of 3:44.07.

CCAA Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Thrower, Nagle won two events a tthe Humboldt State Border Battle on Saturday, leading Chico State-Humboldt State team to a victory over Oregon Tech-Southern Oregon squad.
Nagle won the shot put with a personal-record throw of 15.11 meters (49 feet, 7 inches), which also marks the fourth best throw in the CCAA this season. He also earned top honors in the hammer throw with a heave of 53.51 meters.
