Coyotes' Sabino Ramirez and Tritons' Tyler Durna Named CCAA Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week
SAN RAMON – Cal State San Bernardino junior Sabino Ramirez and UC San Diego sophomore Tyler Durna were named the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week, respectively, for the week of Feb. 27-Mar. 5.
CCAA Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Ramirez, a right-hander from Cathedral City tossed eight shutout innings to lead the Coyotes to a 3-0 win over Cal Poly Pomona, the Broncos first loss in CCAA play.
Of 32 batters faced, Ramirez offered just six hits and two walks, while striking out six.

Durna was No. 7 UC San Diego's offensive highlight in Saturday's doubleheader split at Cal State East Bay.
The Chino Hills product hit .500 (4-for-8) with three RBI, two runs, two doubles, and a home run.
