Pomona's Ruben Dominguez and Stanislaus' Ryan Pust Named CCAA Men's Track and Field Athletes the Week
SAN RAMON – Cal Poly Pomona junior Ruben Dominguez and Stanislaus State sophomore Ryan Pust were selected the California Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Track and Field Athletes of the Week, respectively, for the week of Mar. 20-26.
CCAA Men's Track Athlete of the Week
Dominguez finished second and notched an NCAA provisional qualifying mark in the 1,500-meter run at the Point Loma Invitational last weekend.
The Compton native recorded a personal-best time of 3:49.65, which also placed him eighth on the Broncos all-time list and second among all Division II runners this season.

CCAA Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Pust won snagged a victory in the men's pole vault for the second time this season with a personal-best and an NCAA provisional qualifying height of 15 feet, 9 inches (4.80 meters) at Saturday's Stanislaus Warrior Open in Turlock.
