Ugochi Anudokem Recognized as CCAA Player of the Week

SAN RAMON, Calif. — Sonoma State forward Ugochi Anudokem averaged a double-double for Sonoma State for the week of Dec. 4-10 en route to California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Player of the Week recognition.

The sophomore from San Jose averaged 21.5 points and 12.0 rebounds per game to pace the Seawolves to a weekend split. In Thursday’s loss to San Francisco State, Anudokem came off the bench to contribute 20 points and 10 rebounds. Earning her first start of the season on Saturday, she added 23 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks to guide Sonoma State to a 69-57 win over Stanislaus State. Anudokem was an effective 8-for-12 from the floor and enjoyed a perfect 7-for-7 night from the charity stripe in the win.

Next, the Seawolves travel to Humboldt State to take on the Jacks Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
