Chico State's Kyle Medina and Stanislaus State's Aman Hundal Snag Final CCAA Track & Field Athlete of the Week Awards
San Ramon – Chico State's Kyle Medina and Stanislaus State's Aman Hundal snagged the Conference's final California Collegiate Athletic Association Men's and Women's Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors for the 2016 season.
Men's Track and Field Athlete of the Week
Medina, a sophomore from Ventura, finished third in his 1,500-meter section at the prestigious, Stanford-hosted Payton Jordan Invitational on Sunday.
His time of 3:43.12 topped a number of professionals and Division I athletes in the 15-man field.

Women's Track and Field Athlete of the Week
Hundal jumped up 24 positions in the 800-meter national rankings after winning the event at the Warrior Invitational this past weekend.
Her new lifetime-best mark of 2:10.74 bumps the senior up to 15th on the provisional qualifying list.
