Bradenton, Fla. – Cal State LA's Khallifah Rosser put wrapped up a sensational season Saturday by capturing the NCAA Division II 400-meter intermediate hurdles championship at the IMG Academy.

Rosser was the only CCAA track or field athlete to earn the national championship in their respective events. The West Region Track Athlete of the Year, won the championship with a personal best time of 49.04, topping his previous personal-best mark by 00.23 seconds.

Stanislaus State's Abraham Alvarado highlighted the Warriors six individuals and one team to claim All-America honors. Alvarado finished as the 800-meters runner-up for the second straight year with a time of 1:49.48. Also earning All-America honors was Ian Brooks (8th; 1:54.68) in the men's 800-meters, Kyrah Vaughn (6th; 2:10.30) in the women's 800-meters, Aman Hundal (7th; 2:11.53) in the women's 800-meters, Gary Randolph (7th; 17.40m) in the shot put, Channing Wilson (5th; 51.72m) in the javelin, and the 4x400 meter relay team, including Vaughn, Iesha Boyd, Misha Strong and Chavariana Ryan, with a fifth place finish overall (3:42.11).

Chico State's Olivia Watt was the lone woman to snag all-america honors, claiming two top-eight trophies on the final day of competition. Watt finished seventh in the 1500-meters with a time of 4:25.32 and delivered a time of 2:14.75 in the 800-meters, good for eighth place. 

For the Wildcat men, Zak Stroing was just one of three individuals to take a spot on the All-American podium after finishing seventh in the men's Javelin. Kyle Medina became one of two Wildcats to finish runner-up in an event, finishing second in the1500-meters with a mark of 3:48.80. Will Reyes, who finished runner-up in the 10,000-meters on Friday, claimed the fourth place spot in the 5K with a time of 14:14.86.

Cal Poly Pomona was the only other institution to have an All-American named with distance runner Lizette Huerta finishing fourth (4:24.64) in the 1500-meters. 

Leading the team scores for the women were the Warriors, ranking 11th overall with 24 points. Chico State's women were 19th with 15 points and Cal Poly Pomona was 43rd with 5 points.

On the men's side Chico State finished 11th with 23 points, followed by Stanislaus State (17th; 15 pts.), Cal State LA (25th; 10 pts.), Cal State East Bay (57th; 3 pts.), UC San Diego (57th; 3 pts.).
