CSUEB's Rudy Navarro and CHICO's Hunter Haworth Snag Final CCAA Pitcher and Player of the Week Awards
SAN RAMON – Chico State's Hunter Haworth and Cal State East Bay's Rudy Navarro earned this season's final California Collegiate Athletic Association Baseball PItcher and Player of the Week Awards for the week of May 2-8.
CCAA Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Wildcat starter, Haworth hurled a six-hit shutout as the Wildcats clinched CCAA Post-Season Tournament berth with a 6-0 win at Stanislaus State Saturday afternoon.
The sophomore from Hollister stuck out six and walked just two in seven innings of work.

CCAA Baseball Player of the Week
Navarro, a senior from Corcoran, led the Pioneers offensively, in a 3-1 series victory over Cal State Monterey Bay to clinch first place for CSUEB in the CCAA North standings and the program's first-ever post-season berth.
In five games played, Navarro hit .500 (9-for-18) with a double, two walks, and two RBI.
Against the Otters, he totaled three multi-hit games, including a three-for-three performance in the series finale victory.
