The junior allowed just one hit, one walk, and struck out seven Warrior batters in his first nine-inning complete game performance of the year. Wells needed just 111 pitches to get the job done and after surrendering a single in the second inning he retired the next 20 batters. The only walk of the game was in the ninth inning.

In the first three games of the series Larsen hit a team-best .455 (five-for-11) witha  team-high four RBI to increase his CCAA-leading total to 27.

He was clutch in Saturday night's opener, going two-for-five with two RBI to help the Tritons to a 6-3 come-from-behind victory. Defensively, he was also outstanding, making a diving grab to end the third inning and save two runs from CPP. In the seven-inning nightcap, Larsen came up big once again, finishing two-for-three with a game-tying, two-out double in the sixth inning.

On the weekend, his defense was stellar, making 11 total putouts and assisting in two, which included throwing out a CPP base runner at the plate in Saturday night's 2-1 victory.
