Cal State Dominguez Hills' Jeffrey Gogue and Brady Conlan Tabbed CCAA Baseball Pitcher & Player of the Week
SAN RAMON – Cal State Dominguez Hills swept the California Collegiate Athletic Association weekly baseball awards for the week of Mar. 7-13, with seniors' Jeffrey Gogue and Brady Conlan being named Pitcher and Player of the Week, respectively.
CCAA Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Gogue picked up two wins in one day against UC San Diego as the Toros finished 3-1 in a four-game series with the Tritons last weekend.
His first win of the week was secured a day after he actually took the mound, pitching 2-1 shutout innings in Friday's halted game, which was resumed Sunday. Gogue started game two on Sunday, allowing just three hits and two walks, while striking out two in six innings of work.

CCAA Baseball Player of the Week
Conlan had a productive weekend against No. 8 UC San Diego, going 13-for-19 (.684) with three doubles and a home run, to lead the Toros to a 3-1 series win over the Tritons.
The Chatsworth native also scored five times and drove in five runs on the weekend.
Conlan was outstanding in the first two games of the series, hitting five-for-six with three runs scored and an RBI in Thursday's series opener. The following day he finished four-for-seven with two runs score and two RBI.
Defensively, the third baseman had three putouts and four assists in eight total chances.
