Humboldt's Ariel Oliver and Stanislaus' Gary Randolph Named CCAA Track & Field Athletes of the Week
San Ramon – Humbodt State junior Ariel Oliver and Stanislaus State senior Gary Randolph were selected the California Collegiate Athletic Association Women's and Men's Track and Field Athletes of the Week, respectively, for the week of Mar. 7-13.

Randolph, a Healdsburg product, continues to be the top thrower in the country as he earned two more victories this past weekend at the UC Davis-hosted Aggie Open.
He won the hammer throw with a mark of 202 feet (61.56m) and the shot put with a toss of 53 feet, 7.5 inches (16.34m), both of which are provisional qualifiers for the 2016 NCAA Division II Track and Field Championships.
In addition, Randolph placed fourth in the discus (153-11) behind three Division I athletes.

Women's Track and Field Athlete of the Week
A McMinnville, Oregon native, Oliver snagged her second-straight first-place finish in both the shot put and discus at the Chico State-hosted Wildcat Classic this past weekend.
In the shot put she not only set a new personal-best mark, but also an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark with a distance of 13.85 meters. Oliver's mark is also currently a CCAA best this season.
Oliver also own the discus with a distance of 37.94m, just shy of the conference-leading provisional mark she set just last week.
