Broncos' Bethell and Otters' Hager Named CCAA Pitcher & Player of the Week
SAN RAMON – Cal Poly Pomona's Max Bethell and Cal State Monterey Bay's Myles Hager were named the California Collegiate Athletic Association Baseball Pitcher of the Week and Player of the Week awards, respectively, for the week of Feb. 8-14.

Bethell, a senior from Garden Grove, secured the save last Friday night as Cal Poly Pomona topped CCAA-foe Cal State San Bernardino 8-2.
In his four-inning performance Bethell stuck out 11 of the 15 batters faced, while also allowing just one hit and one walk.

CCAA Baseball Player of the Week
Sophomore infielder, Hager was outstanding offensively in the Otters' four-game series sweep of Azusa Pacific last weekend.
Hager went five-for-14, which included four home runs and one double. He scored five times and totaled 10 RBI, while only striking out twice in his 15 total plate appearances.
On the weekend, the Tarzana product hit .357 and compiled a 1.286 slugging percentage.
Defensively, Hager had seven putouts and 15 assists with just two errors committed.
