SF State's AJ Kahlon and Cal State Dominguez Hills' Imari Brown Named CCAA Players of the Week
SAN RAMON – San Francisco State senior AJ Kahlon and Cal State Dominguez Hills senior Imari Brown were named the California Collegiate Athletic Association Men's and Women's Basketball Players of the Week, respectively, for the week of Nov. 14-20.
Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Kahlon, a post player from Stockton, was outstanding last weekend, averaging 20.5 points, 16.5 rebounds as the Gators defeated defending Division II West Region Champion Western Oregon and Concordia (Ore.).
He started the weekend with career highs of 28 points ad 23 rebounds in Friday's 99-93 triple-overtime victory over the Wolves. Kahlon was key in the third overtime period, scoring seven of SFSU's nine points.
The following night Kahlon recorded his third double-double of the season by scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
On the weekend, Kahlon shot 83 percent (15-for-18) from the field and 85 percent (11-for-13), while also totaling five blocks.

Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Brown had a stellar week in Hawaii, helping the Toros to three victories against BYU-Hawaii, Hawaii-Hilo, and Hawaii Pacific.
The senior from Duarte averaged 17.3 points, nine rebounds, three steals, two assists, and two blocks per game.
Brown's week was highlighted by her performance in Wednesday's 83-80 win over BYU-Hawaii as she scored 15 points, pulled down 13 rebounds, four steals, and blocked four shots, including a block on the game-winning three-point attempt.
