    Coach, Men's Basketball

Pat Douglass served 10 of his 37 years as a coach at the helm of the Cal State Bakersfield men’s basketball program, guiding his teams to an overall Division II record of 257-61.

He coached the Roadrunners to six CCAA crowns (1988, 1990, 1991, 1993, 1996, 1997) and 10 NCAA post-season appearances en route to national titles in 1993, 1994, and 1997.

To date, his 1993 CSUSB squad is just one of three Division II teams to finish with a flawless record, compiling a 33-0 mark.

The four-time Conference Coach of the Year and three-time National Basketball Coaches’ Association Coach of the Year was inducted to the 2004 Bob Elias Hall of Fame and the Eastern Montana University Hall of Fame in 1999.
