Debra Larsen remains one of the most decorated female student-athletes in CCAA history, participating in Cal Poly Pomona's women's basketball and women's track and field programs from 1984-1987.
Larsen was a seven-time All-American and was named the CCAA Athlete of the Year in 1986.
The two-time CCAA Women's Basketball Player of the Year was a member of two Division II National Championship squads in 1984-85 and 1985-86. In 1987, following a runner-up finish, Larsen was named the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Player of the Year, averaging 16 points and 10.9 rebounds.
Also during her senior year, Larsen was a Division II National Champion in the heptathlon. She earned five of seven All-American accolades in track and field, taking honors in the heptathlon, high jump, javelin, long jump and the shot put.
