The senior right-hander tossed a seven-inning complete game to help defeat Cal State Dominguez Hills 6-1 on Friday. Moreno allowed up seven hits and one run. He had a shutout into the seventh inning before yielding a solo home run as the Toros’ only run of the game. Moreno had little room for error as the Golden Eagles led 2-0 most of the game. He walked two and struck out four.
