Cal State Dominguez Hills slugger Vincent Temesvary supplied the Toros offense in earning him the latest CCAA Baseball Player of the Week award.

Temesvary batted .400, going 6-for-15 in 19 plate appearances during the four-game series at San Francisco State. The sophomore outfielder posted a 1.000 slugging and .526 on-base percentage for a 1.526 OPS during the Toros’ split against the Gators.

The left-fielder from Los Angeles drove in six runs and scored four times. Of his six hits, five were for extra bases as he slapped three doubles and belted two home runs. He also drew three walks and was walked by a pitch once with just one strikeout.

Temesvary went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and drove in a run in Friday’s win. In game one of Saturday’s doubleheader he went 3-for-4 with a RBI double with a homer and then also hit a three-run dinger in the nightcap despite CSUDH dropping both games.

Temesvary is currently one of the top sluggers in the conference. He ranks fourth in slugging (.688) and OPS (1.197). His .509 on-base percentage is fifth best.
