Cal State Monterey Bay’s Brady Miguel led the Otters offense last weekend to capture his week’s CCAA Baseball Player of the Week award.
Miguel batted .545 with a .636 slugging percentage and a .545 on-base percentage to lead the Otters over Stanislaus State to win the series 3-1. The sophomore from Hollister went 12-for-22, including two four-hit games, and drove in 10 runs against the Warriors.
To start the series, he went 4-for-6 with a double and five RBI. He followed it with a three-hit game for a seven-hit doubleheader on Saturday. On Sunday, he had another four-hit game to start the day, including a double and drove in three runs.
Defensively, Miguel fielded 10 chances to record eight assists, a putout and committed just one error as the shortstop.
