High School Davis HS Senior Hayden Duer bookended the weekend series against Chico State with style en route to earning CCAA Player of the Week accolades. The senior from Davis ended the longest game in Chico State history and the second longest game in Cal State Monterey Bay history with a two-run, walk-off double to give the Otters the 12-11 win in 15 innings in Game 1 of the series to open the weekend’s action between the leagues top two teams. He ended the series with a game-winning home run to break a 3-3 tie in the 6th inning of the seven-inning game Sunday afternoon. Next up is a trip to Turlock to take on the Warriors.
