He scattered three singles and one walk over 7.0 shutout innings, matching the longest outing of his collegiate career, while striking out a career-best 10. Mott got to just three three-ball counts among his 26 batters faced. The No. 7 Tritons and No. 14 Broncos split the weekend series, and now UC San Diego looks ahead to a road trip to Sonoma State.
