2005-06 Final Standings
The Cup is awarded to the CCAA member institution with the highest aggregate ranking in eight (8) of the CCAA’s 13 championship sport offerings.
An institution’s Commissioner’s Cup ranking is calculated using its top two league finishes in the fall, winter and spring sports seasons, as well as the highest two remaining finishes, regardless of season. An institution’s numerical finish for team sports is determined by regular season standings, and individual sports finishes are determined by the finishes of the season-ending championship event.
Team sports are men’s and women’s soccer, women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, women’s tennis, baseball and softball. Individual sports are men’s and women’s cross country, men’s golf and men’s and women’s outdoor track & field. Institutions winning the conference tournament in the sports of men’s soccer, women’s soccer, softball and baseball deduct one (1) point from their regular season finish in those respective sports.
