Lindahl's Hat Trick Good for CCAA Player of the Week

SAN RAMON, Calif. – After adding his name to the Cal State LA annals, Robin Lindahl has been named CCAA Player of the Week for Sept. 2-9.

The junior from Lillestroem, Norway recorded the 27th hat trick in program history on Saturday, scoring all of the Golden Eagles goals in a 3-0 win at Concordia-Irvine. Lindahl booted in two first-half strikes while Cal State LA took control of the game and punctuated the day with his third in the 84th minute of play. After the hat trick, Lindahl is leading the team in total goals scored (4).

Next, Cal State LA opens CCAA play on the road, facing off with Chico State on Friday at 7 p.m., followed by a Sunday afternoon soiree at Stanislaus State.
