Gonzalez Races to Weekly Honors

SAN RAMON, Calif. – After team and individual wins on the week, Stanislaus State senior and Turlock native Isaac Gonzalez has been awarded CCAA Runner of the Week for Sept. 3-9.

Gonzalez took home the individual title at the Kim Duyst Cross Country Invitational in a time of 25:24.7 in the 8K ran under the lights at River Oaks Golf Course. He led the Warriors' to a second consecutive team win, with five Stanislaus State athletes notching top-10 finishes in the race.

Gonzalez and the Warriors take to the course next at the Capital Cross Challenge in Sacramento on Sept. 29.
