SAN RAMON, Calif. — After taking third in the strong field at the Barry Invitational, Cal State East Bay’s Carolin Chang has been tapped as the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Golfer of the Week for March 21-27.

Individually, Chang shot rounds of 75, 72, and 71 for a 54-hole total of 218 (+2) on the Senator Course at Don Shula's GC in Miami Lakes, Fla.

Her Tuesday score ranks as the second-lowest of any golfer on the course, and the junior from Tianan, Taiwan, fired a 5-under on the Par 5, compiling the lowest par 5 scoring average in the field (4.58). Chang third place finish came in a field of 89 that featured 38 of the top 100 individuals in the nation and eight of the top 10, according to Golfstat.
