SAN RAMON, Calif. — After leading the Wildcats to a runner-up finish, Chico State junior Kelley Sullivan has been named the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Golfer of the Week for March 14-20.

Sullivan, a junior from Sammamish, Wash., finished fourth in a field of 104 golfers in The Joust at Goose Creek, hosted by California Baptist. Sullivan shot rounds of 69, 68, and 72 on the par-70 course in Jurupa Valley to compile a 1-under 209 for the tournament. Chico State secured a second-place finish for the third time in four spring events. Only host Cal Baptist outdid the Wildcats and two of the three golfers ahead of Sullivan were Lancers while Colorado-Colorado Springs’ Colin Prater took home medalist honors.

Chico State winds down its regular-season slate at the Hanny Stanislaus Invitational April 2-3 in Turlock before preparing for the 2018 CCAA Championships. .
