Cristina Picariello Collects CCAA Golfer of the Week Feb 14, 2018 SAN RAMON, Calif. — After carding her highest collegiate finish, Sonoma State’s Cristina Picariello has been named California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Golfer of the Week for Feb. 7-13. Picariello fired rounds of 78 and 76 to capture the runner-up trophy at the Mikuni Sushi Shootout at Catta Verdera Country Club in Lincoln. She led the tournament field with 22 pars and closed with a final score of 12-over, 154, moving up seven spots on the leader board in the closing round. The sophomore from San Jose finished behind individual medalist Anahi Servin of Academy of Art, who carded a 149 (+7) to win by five shots. Sonoma State finished third in the team standings behind the Urban Knights and host Holy Names.
