SAN RAMON, Calif. - UC San Diego senior Katie O'Laughlin has received the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week honor for the week of Aug. 31 through Sept. 3.

The Carlsbad native put together a pair of impressive performances last week, leading the Tritons to a 3-0 win over Point Loma on Thursday in the opener and then a 2-1 victory against Central Washington on Saturday.

O'Laughlin scored a goal in each of the two contests while adding an assist in Saturday's defeat of CWU. Her goal in the 58th minute against the Wildcats proved to be the game winner.

The Tritons will return to action on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. home match against Concordia Irvine. The full CCAA women's soccer schedule can be viewed at goccaa.org/scoreboard.
