Dominguez Selected as CCAA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

SAN RAMON, Calif. – Cal Poly Pomona senior Ruben Dominguez has been selected as the first California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for the 2017 season.
 
Dominguez led the Broncos to a first-place finish at the Kim Duyst Cross Country Invitational to open the 2017 campaign. The Compton, Calif., native raced to a time of 25:54.5.
 
Last year, Dominguez placed 23rd individually at the NCAA Division II National Championships to earn All-American honors. CPP men’s cross country returns to action on Sept. 16 at the UC Riverside Invite.
