Gators' Andrew Selevos Named CCAA Runner of the Week
SAN RAMON, Calif. – San Francisco State junior Andrew Selevos was selected as the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week of Sept. 18 through Sept. 24.
The Gators finished in sixth place in the SF State Invitational. Selevos, an Anaheim Hills native, crossed the line in 25:35.2 to take 10th place individually.
"I thought our top guys ran great,” SFSU head coach Tom Lyons said. “They paced well and followed a smart race plan where they set themselves up to be competitive over the last few miles. Today was a good result for our team."
The Gators return to action on Oct. 7 at the Triton Classic.
