Navigato’s tournament victory is the first of his collegiate career, and the first UC San Diego golfer to claim individual medalist honors since Oct. 2015. The Solana Beach native fired off rounds of 69, 65 and 65 to go 17-under at Blackhorse and ease to the win seven strokes ahead of his nearest competitor. His 199 stroke tally topped the tournament’s previous best score by nine strokes. Throughout three rounds of play, he carded one eagle, 21 birdies, 26 pars and just six bogeys. Navigato's eagle came in the second round on the par-5 eighth hole, while his third round featured nine birdies.
