Jade Poon Collects CCAA Women's Soccer Player of the Week Accolade Oct 17, 2017 SAN RAMON, Calif. - After a stellar weekend on the pitch, Stanislaus State senior Jade Poon has collected California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Women’s Soccer Player of the Week accolades for Oct. 9-15. The honor is her second of the 2017 season. The Sacramento native helped the Warriors to two victories on the week, and played a crucial role in Stanislaus State’s overtime victory over Cal State San Bernardino on Friday. After assisting on the equalizer earlier in the match, Poon headed in the overtime game-winner in the 96th minute of the match. With the 12th game-winning goal of her career, she now stands in second on the Stanislaus State all-time records. The Warriors host a pair of squads in Turlock this weekend, beginning with Friday’s 4:30 p.m. match versus Cal State Monterey Bay.
