Angelica Ramos Tabbed as CCAA Women's Soccer Player of the Week Oct 10, 2017 SAN RAMON, Calif. - Holding down the defense for the No. 7 San Diego Tritons, goalkeeper Angelica Ramos has been minted as the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Women’s Soccer Player of the Week for Oct. 2-8. The redshirt sophomore from San Clemente, Calif., Ramos produced four saves in each of two 1-0 home triumphs for the Tritons. Ramos now has five straight individual clean sheets, seven in the last eight matches, and nine this season. She and the stalwart UC San Diego defense have allowed a single goal while opening the CCAA slate a perfect 8-0, and that was an own goal at Cal State Dominguez Hills.
