Chico State's Kelley Sullivan Snags CCAA Golfer of the Week Honor

SAN RAMON – Chico State sophomore Kelley Sullivan logged his first two collegiate top-10 finishes en route to being named the California Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Golfer of the Week.

Sullivan shot rounds of 77 and 68 at hte Saint Martin's Invitational to finish three-over par and in a tie for ninth place. His three-under par round on Saturday helped the No. 5 ranked Wildcats finish ahead of 17 other squads including No. 10 Cal State Monterey Bay and the NAIA's No. 3 ranked University of British Columbia. 

The Sammamish, Wash. native stayed hot in his home state, shooting a career-low first round 66 followed by rounds of 74 and 73 on Tuesday to tie for sixth and lead Chico State to a second place finish at the Western Washington Invitational.
