Cal State San Marcos' Andrew Stalboerger and UC San Diego's Mary Reilly Named CCAA Soccer Players of the Week
SAN RAMON – Cal State San Marcos sophmore Andrew Salboerger and UC San Diego sophomore Mary Reilly were selected the the California Collegiate Athletic Association Men's and Women's Soccer Players of the Week, respectively, for the week of Oct. 19-25.

Stalboerger, a center back from Canoga Park, scored the Cougars only two goals in their 1-0-1 weekend, which included a 1-0 victory against No. 21 nationally-ranked UC San Diego Wednesday and a 1-1 draw with Chico State on Friday.
During CSUSM's midweek game against the Tritons, Stalboerger scored the game-winner on a rebound at 59:52. On Friday, after allowing an early first-half goal to the Wildcats, Stalboerger had the equalizer with another 59th minute goal.
Although he led the Cougars offensively, he also spearheaded a defense that allowed just one goal on 23 total shots faced.

Women's Soccer Player of the Week
Reilly was unstoppable it the Tritons 3-1 home win over Chico State on Sunday afternoon as No. 11 UCSD swept its two-game week to finally kick off 2016 Conference play.
The forward from Chula Vista assisted on the Tritons' first two goals in the second half to give them a 2-0 advantage over the Wildcats and with the lead cut to just one at 2-1, Reilly snagged three more points with her fourth goal of the season in the 87th minute of regulation.
On the weekend, Reilly collected five points on one goal and two assists. She was also three for eight in shots on goal.
