Coyotes' Cassandra Williams and Morgan Ratliff Tabbed CCAA Pitcher & Player of the Week
SAN RAMON – Cal State San Bernardino senior Cassandra Williams and sophomore Morgan Ratliff were tabbed the California Collegiate Athletic Association Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week, respectively, for the week of Feb. 29-Mar. 6.

Williams continues to be a huge threat in the circle, snagging another win to improve her season record to 12-4 and helping the Coyotes to four-game series sweep over Cal State Dominguez Hills.
In Friday's series opener the Apple Valley product three just the sixth no-hitter in school history and its first in nearly 10 seasons. In seven innings, she walked six and struck out nine Toro batters.
Williams also started two other games and came in as relief in the series finale, pitching 6.2 innings, allowing seven hits, six earned runs, and seven strikeouts.

CCAA Softball Player of the Week
Santa Clara native, Ratliff led the Coyotes at the plate to a 4-0 weekend against Southern California rival Cal State Dominguez Hills and in turn helping the program to its best start (17-8) in 18 seasons.
On the weekend, she hit .563 (9-for-16) with four doubles, a home run and a team-leading nine RBI. In addition she was four-for-four in stolen base attempts and was perfect defensively with six putouts and one assist from the outfield.
Highlighting her weekend was her performance in game one of Saturday's doubleheader, when she went three for four with two doubles, two stolen bases, and six RBI.
